Monsana Service - an Example

  1. The potential patient is confronted by a diagnosis and cannot find a suitable doctor to help him in his own country. He decides to find himself an expert in western Europe.

  2. He finds the Monsana website and searches for his diagnosis in the Who is Who database. He is successful and is interested in one of the monsana experts.

  3. He sends an inquiry to monsana via the contact form, eg. in Russian

  4. Monsana gets in touch with him and the further procedure is clarified: the patient sends his medical documentation, which is forwarded to the doctor of choice by monsana (if necessary the documents are translated previously).

  5. The doctor looks at the medical documents and proposes the further steps to the patient, e.g. a medical treatment.

  6. If the patient is interested, a cost estimate is done by the clinic.

  7. The patient decides if Monsana should only organise the treatment or the whole stay. The costs of the Monsana services are integrated into the cost estimate accordingly.

  8. The patient accepts the cost estimate and transfers the money requested for the services respectively.

  9. As soon as the money has arrived, all appointments with the clinic are made by a Monsana employee.

  10. Monsana arranges for an invitation letter by the clinic so that a visa can be applied for (if necessary)

  11. Monsana takes care of all organisational tasks and sends a schedule of the stay to the patient. The patient arrives and is picked up by monsana. Afterwards he is accompanied to the hotel and/or the clinic.

  12. Monsana arranges all the formalities at the clinic.

  13. While in the clinic an interpreter will assist as wished and arranged. Monsana can always be contacted for help if any problems occur.

  14. At the end of the clinic stay the patient is brought to the airport.

  15. The whole invoicing for the medical treatment is taken care of by Monsana.

  16. As soon as all invoices have been received, the patient receives a detailed cost statement where all payments are listed. Any excess money is refunded or used for further medical treatment if required.  

  17. If necessary, Monsana also arranges the after care and rehabilitation
